WAPT drivers are dedicated to providing courteous and professional transportation services with­out bias or discrimination. Before driving for WAPT, drivers must successfully complete two in-class trainings offered by ALTrans: 1) Disability Awareness Readiness Exercise (D.A.R.E.), a one day course and 2) Customer Assistance Readiness and Essentials (C.A.R.E.), a two day certification training that covers driver's sensitivity training. All drivers must pass a drug test and consent to random drug testing as well as satisfy a background investigation.
